An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, KS is an experienced Investment banker with over 25 years of fund raising, M&A, cross sectoral and global experience with over 150 transactions across Equity Financing, Infrastructure financing and M&A. He has held senior positions across seven platforms in 25 years – SBI Capital Markets Ltd. (Mumbai& Ahmedabad), Torrent Group (a private group with interests in the power and pharma sectors), Ernst & Young Pvt. Ltd., ICICI Securities Ltd., Barclays Capital Ltd., Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd. & Daiwa Capital Markets India Pvt. Ltd. He last held the position of Head – Investment Banking at Daiwa, a Japanese investment banking house.
Even while he is stitching investment banking deals, KS is likely to be humming a Pancham number, relying on Gulzar’s insights into tender emotions that drive motivations, applying Sahir or Majrooh philosophy to the cyclicality, greed and fear that drive financial markets or simply trying to decode the cosmic signs stars are putting out for the moment. You can always rely upon him to quote every lyric and trivia on over 2500 Bollywood compositions or simply share the most wicked cartoon of the day.

Prerak is a Chartered Accountant with over 14 years of diverse experience in Strategic Advisory and Equity Fundraising. He has significant start-up senior management experience with responsibilities of business growth and fundraising. Prerak has worked in YouFirst Ventures, Reliance ADAG Group, Edelweiss Financial Services Limited, JP Morgan Chase. He last led Strategy & Investor Relations for YouFirst and joined Panini in April 2020. Prerak is a fitness enthusiast with a passion for football, technology, travelling the lesser known trails and collecting caps from around the world.

Debasis Panigrahi
Director
20+ years of Investment Banking experience working with both domestic and international investment banks at leadership positions.
Before founding Mridayaa Ventures, was working as Executive Director-Investment Banking, Nomura India, primarily responsible for all capital market deals and corporate finance functions. Led number of marquee transactions across Capital Markets, M & As and Acquisition Financing. His other stints include ICICI Securities and SBI Capital Markets Limited.
Helped Corporates on private markets and public listing transactions raising more than US$ 25bn. Led some of the most complex and “First of its kind” transactions in the Indian markets. Has also helped companies in their IPO journey end to end from planning to listing.
Debasis partners with Panini on transactions in an entrepreneurial capacity in select sectors in financial services, tech, animal health and other spaces thereby pooling resources, reach, expertise and network.
Debasis is a Management Grad from XIMB, Bhubaneswar, Bachelor of Law and fellow member of ICSI, New Delhi
